John Walkenbach has switched from IE to Mozilla Firebird for various reasons, and now is giving NetCaptor a try. Sounds like these are all on the right track, like my favorite, the iRider browser. You owe it to yourself to try one of these non-IE browsers. They're not just for hippies anymore.
