The John Kerry campaign unleashed a barrage of telemarketing calls against the good citizens of Milwaukee last night, a week before the Wisconsin primary. Unfortunately for him, even us backwards folks from America's Dairyland DO have Caller ID, and noticed the calls were coming from Ontario, Canada. Looks like Kerry is just another rich guy taking away jobs from hard-working Americans and moving them out of the country.

Not sure what I would be more upset about. The fact that he is using telemarketing or the fact that he is using outsourced telemarketing.

In Kerry's defense, it should be noted that some companies who are contracted as "local" sources turn around and sub-contract the work overseas. This should be an issue only if it turns out that Kerry knew it was happening...
(BTW, I don't like Kerry - I just prefer to bash him on things he actually says and does.)

John Kerry is a a big hypocrite. he whines about offshoring jobs, but his campaign is based from Canada. He whines about "special interests", but his campaign is swimming in special interest money. He brags about being a big "Nam" hero now, but he made a big show about throwing his medals into the garbage because during the 70s at that time being a War hero wouldnt get you elected. (but they weren't actually his real medals, he still needed his real medals so he can trot them out whenever he wants votes).

Basically some guy on the web says this, and this makes the rounds in all the blogs. I'm not saying someone is lying here, but we don't know the full story. It could be Kerry is aware or not aware, or probably a subcontractor did this. Or it could be that the poster got confused, who knows?
What I do know is I'm more worried about the "Economy Report" released today, touting the wonders of outsourcing, while at the same time the administration says they will create 2.6 million jobs this year!!!
That's rich considering that we were promised 1.6-2 million last year, and we got nowhere close. Why does the adminstration keep making these predictions, and why don't they have good answers on this offshoring question?

I am sure Bush knows about this that subcontractors outsource the jobs, and I'm sure Bush can stop them. If IBM's software is written by their IBM India branch, there is nothing in the world that the President, whether its Clinton or Bush or Dean, can do about it.

"What did he know, and when did he know it?"
Will he take responsibility or duck and evade?
We want answers! :)

ic;
The president can't promise 2.6 million new jobs, and at the same time, seem to encourage outsourcing of everything at the same time.
The last job prediction numbers were way off, does this "prediction" sound sane to you?
Where are these new jobs going to be created, when almost everything can be done much cheaper in 3rd world countries?
I illustrated this last night, btw;

And the Bush campaign outsourced its call center for more than a year to India. Here's the link --

Looks like far more jobs were lost thanks to GWB's outsourcing than to Kerry's.

I think that to receive the mortgage loans from banks you ought to have a good motivation. However, once I've received a small business loan, just because I was willing to buy a house.
