I mean, if a beloved President used to work for your company, don't you think it would be a good idea to at least mention it on your web site?
UPDATE: GE has now posted a nice little tribute GE Remembers Reagan, with a short message from CEO Jeff Immelt. I knew GE would do the right thing. Sometimes it just takes a little nudge or two.

I am in the beginning stages of a complete remodel and I have informed GE that all new appliances will definitely -NOT- be GE products.

Give 'em a day or so and see if they put something up on their site.

It's there now. You can go back to buying GE lightbulbs and toasters again. ;)
Not too bad, either, if perhaps a bit terse. Even rated a statement from the CEO.

Great news, thanks! Buying lightbulbs and toasters is nice, but since I still own some GE stock, buying a couple of jet engines or MRI scanners would be better! ;-)

I'm sure what GE appreciated the most from Reagan was the nuclear weapon spending budget that brought billions in their coffer (GE is also a big Nuke component manufacturer)
