The hypocrisy among gay men and the larger community about the Boy Scout issue is spectacular. Come on. The gay culture does not grow men who are desperate to be Scout leaders! The Gay Elite knows this, and so does every self-respecting gay person. Any gay man who truly embraces the Boy Scouts' tenets would understand the concern and would consequently be compelled to respectfully walk away. By contrast, those who threaten and demand and huff and puff about their exclusion expose their real agenda as inherently anti-Scouting. If the Catholic Church had been as eager to defend its principles as the Scouts have been, so many lives would not have been damaged or destroyed.
