Here's what the Quintessential Bully from every 80's film has been up to, from zabka.com:
In 1984, Billy began his acting career playing the role of “Johnny” in the classic film, "The Karate Kid". While continuing to star in other feature films - “European Vacation,” “Back To School,” & “Just One Of The Guys” – and a four year run on the CBS television series, “The Equalizer,” Billy studied filmmaking and screen writing at UCLA - and film aesthetics under legendary cinematographer, Vilmos Zsigmond. And while you're at it, check out billyzabka.com, a very nice fan site.In 2001, after acting in over 20 feature films, Billy began his journey as a filmmaker when he wrote and produced his first film, "Most,” a Czech language film shot entirely on location in Prague and Poland.
"Most" premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and went on to win several jury and audience awards at prestigious film festivals, including “Best Of Festival”, at the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival. This year, 2004, "Most" received it's highest award, an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film.
Billy is represented by the William Morris Agency, and recently signed with Warner Independent Pictures to write and produce "Sportsfishing: A Guide for the Emotional Cripple," based on his original manuscript.

I grew on on Zabka flicks. Hope he's in this new one. The big screen needs him.

oh that's funny stuff. i'm a longtime Johnny Lawrence fan, even if he played the bad guy in every 80s movie. maybe Rob Bloom can interview Greg Tolan next (the bad guy from Just one of the Guys) or Chaz (the bad guy from Back to School)!
You're dead, LaRusso!

I saw William Zabka and a portion of his short film on the Christian Network TBN. It is truly a beautiful and artistic film. I understand you can get a copy at www.MosttheMovie.com and from what I observed of the film, "Most" , it is well worth it. It addresses the ultimate sacrifice of a Father and although it is not an overtly Christian film, it parallels the story of Jesus and how God , the Father, made that ultimate sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, for humanity. It is a heart piercing film and makes you think. I think Wiliam Zabka is a man of great spiritual and artistic depths and having studied theatre and screen writing personally ,
I can say I am truly impressed and highly recomend the movie "Most".
I am blessed just having seen him testify about his Christian faith and seeing portions of the cinematically pleasing short film.
God bless Billy Zabka!
