- Purchased by radio tycoon Robert Liggett Jr., Big Boy has emerged from bankruptcy and is a going and growing business.
- A completely separate business from Big Boy itself, Frisch's has the rights to operate and franchise Big Boy restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
