2005 Map Of US Senators By Religion

2005 Map Of US Senators By Religion
Just follow the bouncing color key and sing along! Where the state is one solid color, that means that both US Senators from that state are of the same religion. Where the Senator wimped out and listed his religion as "Christian", I counted that as Protestant. Here's my source, which is worth clicking on just to see the animated crosses and Stars of David twirling in unison -- a veritable kum-bay-yah moment of internet kitsch. For info on any individual Senator, Answers.com is a good source too.
So, are you surprised that Wisconsin has two US Senators of the Hebraic Persuasion? And just like California, they're both Democrats. What does it mean? Personally, I think it's a sign from God, but don't quote me on it (20 bonus points if you can name the movie). Neighboring Minnesota elects Jewish Republicans, so they're way ahead of us Cheeseheads in that respect. And hey, you can get elected to the Senate if you're a Unitarian, you just have to move to North Dakota to do it.

Tom, I went to the site and followed it further to "Etiquette of Formal and Business Dining." I like the part on "Using Your Fingers," which is really going to make things tough at the next barbeque.

"So, are you surprised that Wisconsin has two US Senators of the Hebraic Persuasion? And just like California, they're both Democrats. What does it mean?"
Probably means they're brilliant. The Democratic Party attracts such people.
And the Republican party can't stand it.

Actually, the Republicans do like it! Democrats: The Brilliant, Ever-Shrinking Minority. :-)
"Personally, I think it's a sign from God, but don't quote me on it". Nobody remembers what movie this is from?

Another 20 points for me. Ya' know, I've never won a Blog game show before. I think I'm ahead in this one though :)

Where are the atheists?

They might be too scared to admit it before the election. Good question. Has there ever been an atheist senator?

and this is all relevant how?

I did this mostly to give folks a little different view of Cheesehead Wisconsin.
