- George W Bush is the kind of President with vision and character that every Democrat secretly wishes Bill Clinton had been. And it really grates on their nerves.
- The 6th Star Wars movie for some reason reminds me of the Bob Goldthwait quote on why he appeared in Police Academy 4: "Because there were too many unanswered questions left from from Police Academy 2 and Police Academy 3."
- Sometimes Winsor Pilates spokeswoman Daisy Fuentes mumbles and slurs her words, and sometimes Overstock.com's Sabine Ehrenfeld over-enunciates. And Mari Winsor reminds me of The Joker from Batman.
- I got one of those Gilette M3 Power razors that has a AAA batery and that buzzes, and it really works great. Would make a good Father's Day present for some lucky Dad!
- Drivers need to hang up their cell phones and pay attention to the road.
Hehheh. I think that first one is a bit of wishful thinking Tom. Moral certainty unfortunately does not always lead to solid public policy and vice versa. Otherwise it would be much easier to pick out the good presidents
from the bad.

Whew! I thought you were going to pound me on my Daisy Fuentes comment . . .

Wait until the next 3 Star Wars movies, Tom :)
Oh, and I fully expected Erik to post a rebuttal to #1. I don't personally see a lot of vision from Bush, though I do see dogged determination. And while my Democrat friends may have wished for more character from Clinton, they have pretty well convinced themselves -- and a whole new generation, that it doesn't matter. I think this in itself is evidence of an important shift in our culture, which really hasn't been investigated enough. Just look at the sexual activity in todays teenagers and you see the same cavalier attitude exhibited by President Clinton, and the same 'oral sex isn't sex' belief. Only I think the teenagers mean it.
How I wish we had raised a generation who believes that character counts.

I knew I could never convince anyone on the whole Bush-Clinton thing. But if I've reminded anyone to pay more attention to the road while driving, well hey I guess that's something!
