• Interesting Quote: It is simply STUNNING to realize what profound thoughts and sincere questions people, ordinary average people, are carrying in their hearts. And it's stunning to realize that they are willing to say them out loud to us, the team, who they don't know, in a church in which they don't know anybody.

• I still confuse the new Pope with the guy who used to be on Cheers who now does that Made in America show on the Travel Channel. Ratz something or another.
• Thomas Sowell: What can we be certain of from history? That human beings have been wrong innumerable times, by vast amounts, and with catastrophic results. Yet today there are still people who think that anyone who disagrees with them must be either bad or not know what he is talking about.
• In my post about a famous carpet pitchman on TV, someone commented that he heard that the pitchman had passed away. I got in touch with the famous man, and posted his denial underneath the erroneous report. It was surprisingly satisfying to by able to do that.
• A couple of times each school semester, I get a slew of hits by students looking for instructions on how to build a mousetrap car.

• Our two ferrets got into the kitchen pantry last night and pulled two 12-oz. packages of Egg Noodles underneath the living room sofa amd then opened them and had a ferret good time.
• I still think The Cowsills Belong In The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and if you don't agree with me then you're just stupid.
