In making this map, you are acting as an agent for change and imagining new possibilities and visionary ideas, right? This is all very relevant and I'm sure the Nazis will love it! But if some crazy fringe types--probably those darned conservatives--insist on suppressing your right to be edgy and irresponsible, just say you're sorry they feel that way. That always works.

Not that I ever drank their product before, but now I'm telling everyone to request other brands by name. I'll accept their apology after their corporation piles out like a Habitat project and helps construct the fence.

Come on Jonathon, the above ad was only created for Germany. It was intended for an German audience that would appreciate what the borders would look like if Germany won World War II. It wasn't intended for ANYONE ELSE in the world. You shouldn't be offended.

Here's a list of American vodkas: http://www.ivodka.com/countries-united-states.html
some of them are good, and some of them are so bad they're good!

That's one of the better parodies I've seen so far, but those who are exercised about the ad might want to consider doing something much more effective than going after a vodka company.
Namely, trying to publicly discredit politicians on the wider issue by asking them the questions the MSM won't, and then uploading their responses to video sharing sites. It's a shame that all the energy put into responding to the ad couldn't have been put into something much more effective.

Yeah, and posting on the web has never fed a hungry child.
Like, whatever.

It's extremely funny that the "Americans" get so wound up about an ad that could be taken to be reminding the people of Mexico that they lost that territory and turn out this great piece of crap. Seriously, are you that afraid that the Mexicans might take over the U.S.? It is also funny that one could draw pretty strong comparisons between the Nazis and the U.S. in the simple fact that it was the U.S. who has invaded countries and had a distinct policy of cultural superiority for the last 150 years. Go Nazi America

Glad to see not only did you trash the Swedes, but you also disrespected the 6 million Jews that suffered horrendous deaths at the expense of the Nazis....way to go American zealots!

Sidebar: the previous two posters are examples of why we need to "repair" America's reputation with the world.
[Gag]
I think we should start by withdrawing our protection of Europe.
And my local bar has replaced Absolute with Stoli because of the ad.

Thanks Tom, I am a "darned conservative" I really enjoyed your map. I sent an email to absolut's NY HQ & Sweden HQ. I reminded them of why our parents, great grandparents,(great great grandparents) left that stinkhole called Europe to come here to USA. I told them sternly but politely to stick their Reconquista mantra where the Sun don't shine.

Yes Crazy Americans, we're afraid that Mexico might invade us. That's exactly what's behind the reaction to the ad, and aren't you an insightful genius to figure that out.
And you're even more insightful to see the parallels between Americans and Nazis. That is one water-tight syllogism you've got there, Crazy. Congratulations!

Um, Absolut is produced and marketed by a private company, isn't it? So why are you insulting Sweden?
What are you, a communist?
