A simple little game to pass the time, with just two rules:
- First Rule: You can move one letter up or down one place.
- Second Rule: Alternatively, you can move one letter up x places, if you move another letter down x places.
Here's an example:
- TLA: We'll start out with TLA as our three-letter acronym (TLA).
- SLA: We move the the "T" up one place to "S". "SLA" stands for "Symbionese Liberation Army".
- RMA: Using the Second Rule, we move the "S" up one place to "R", and the "L" down one place to "M".
- RNA
- ROA: etc
A great little pastime for meetings or waitng for your next flight at the airport. And in the spirit of my Blog Buddy Bernie DeKoven, Funsmith, why not make up your own rules and variations? After all, you're the one stuck in that meeting or in the airport, eh?
