You cut through the snow with the wire side, then flip it over and pull the snow down with the rake side. I just ordered one -- anybody have one of these?

Hi Tom, We have a regular one, though it has a very sharp edge that cuts through the snow fairly efficiently.

We got 46 inches of snow in Spokane in Dec and standard snow shoveling on dangerously sloped roofs has completely sucked. This is a cool device.
