Getting Started With Old Time Radio

Here are just a few to get you started with Old-Time Radio (OTR):

  • RadioSpirits: Cassettes and CD's of OTR shows. Relatively expensive, but a good way to get started.
  • When Radio Was is RadioSpirits syndicated OTR show, broadcast on many radio stations around the country.
  • RadioClassics allows 20 hours of downloads and unlimited streaming for $19.95 per month
  • MediaBay, the parent company of all of the above, has another deal to let you download 20 hours of OTR and/or audio books for just $9.95 per month
  • OTRCAT is cheaper, and offers shows on CD's
  • RUSC.COM offers OTR shows for downloading for $7.50 per month
  • OTR-Shop offers OTR shows with higher sound quality
  • OTRFTPserver is what I now use. Download 1 Gigabyte of OTR shows for $7.50 -- that's a lot of OTR shows

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read. I'll definitely be back.
