With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot of unique content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help prevent content from being stolen? I'd deinitely appreciate it.

When professors and other teachers are rewarded with the same salaries as the doctors, politicians, and lawyers are mentioned in the article, then tenure may lose some of its merit (although I don't believe that is necessarily true since the academic freedom issues remain). In some ways, tenure is an incentive to go into an underpaid yet important (to society, that is) career. By the way, who taught those physicians, politicians, and lawyers? Shouldn't there be some reward for that effort? It certainly isn't salary.

Dan's post is well worth reading. The problem I have with tenure is that nobody else has it, basically.

Because academic tenure is worth fighting for
