Actually, I like him for all the same reasons my friends on the right side of the spectrum here in Milwaukee dislike him: He's snarky, petty, and able to sneak those jabs in when you least expect them. He has nothing nice to say about my talk-radio heroes. He fawns over liberals.
But he's not boring. And we're talking about a TV-Radio critic here, and strong opinions are what you should be getting.
But to tell the truth, I think it's mostly an age thing. I have high school friends I have been arguing politics with on and off for over 30 years now. And I have the same question you have of the friends you argue with: How can such nice and otherwise intelligent people be so dumb when it comes to politics? In the beginning, I wanted to win them over to my side. But now i'm slowly beginning to realize that in their stubbornness they have help define who I am, so much so that if they were now to come over to my way of thinking, it would be terribly disorienting at this late date.
And Tim Cuprisin is like those high school friends. Every morning, he's very irritating. And very comforting. To me, anyway.
I was able to find good info from your articles.
